University World Championships 2022

Hosted by British University Taekwon-Do League, the event will welcome competitors from around the world, ensuring they have the best experience possible. We aim to create an unforgettable championship for all attendees, uniting them through Taekwon-Do.

This World Championship will host events for:

Individual ITF Patterns, Individual ITF Sparring, Team ITF Patterns, Team ITF Sparring, Individual WT Poomsae

The Championships will take place at Manchester Metropolitan Universities, Platt Lane Sports Complex, Yew Tree Road, M14 7UU, Manchester, England, United Kingdom. There is large on site parking. Bus Route 111 goes directly outside venue from City Centre. Venue located 7 miles from Manchester Airport and 3.1 miles from Manchester City Centre & Piccadilly Train Station. Nearest Train Station Manchester Oxford Road at 2.4 miles away.

DIVISIONS & ENTRY FEES

• Juniors (15-17 Years) - £45.00
• Adults (18-35 Years) - £45.00
• Seniors (36+ Years) - £45.00

This is a one off fee per competitor (Includes all events)

Team Entry - £5.00 (Per Competitor)

All entries include, attendance certificate, weekend spectator ticket, after party ticket, personal competitor insurance and registration pack.

Coaches - £1 (Coaches meeting to take place virtually pre event and on day of events)

Spectators - FREE (Spectators can choose to donate each day to our partnered charity, Mind)

*If events are shorter, the next event will start immediately to avoid unnecessary waiting times.

**Medal ceremonies will take place as soon as the category has ended on each ring. Medalists from that category will then be sent over together to the official podium.
